11 March 2022 Job Description Firebrand are looking for a new customer service/sales assistant to join our team on a part-time or casual basis. Duties include selling, restocking and taking orders for our range of items. This opportunity is rare as we have low staff turnover.Responsibilities
Welcome and connect with customers
Provide product information and make recommendations to the customer. Working knowledge of allergies, gluten free, vegan, sourdough etc.
Record orders via instore / phone
Maintain stock levels and attractive display of items
Practice safe and hygienic food handling and OHS requirements
Process transactions using EFTPOS terminal
Requirements
Proven working experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment (2+ years)
Proven working experience in a retail bakery is an advantage
Familiarity with our products (highly preferred)
Demonstrates initiative, accountability and ability to problem solve
Friendly, helpful and engaging
Availability negotiable *must be available Saturdays, Easter Period (April) and Christmas (December)
