Job Description

​Firebrand are looking for a new customer service/sales assistant to join our team on a part-time or casual basis. Duties include selling, restocking and taking orders for our range of items. This opportunity is rare as we have low staff turnover.Responsibilities
  • Welcome and connect with customers
  • Provide product information and make recommendations to the customer. Working knowledge of allergies, gluten free, vegan, sourdough etc.
  • Record orders via instore / phone
  • Maintain stock levels and attractive display of items
  • Practice safe and hygienic food handling and OHS requirements
  • Process transactions using EFTPOS terminal
Requirements
  • Proven working experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment (2+ years)
  • Proven working experience in a retail bakery is an advantage
  • Familiarity with our products (highly preferred)
  • Demonstrates initiative, accountability and ability to problem solve
  • Friendly, helpful and engaging
  • Availability negotiable *must be available Saturdays, Easter Period (April) and Christmas (December)
